About Us
Well
it all started a long time ago in Schenectady, New York. Fortunately,
it hasn't ended yet.
Did
many things during my lifetime. Two years of college studying Aircraft
Operations at Long Island Agricultural and Technical Institute (Farmingdale,
NY). Two more at Parks College of Aeronautical Technology (St. Louis
University) to graduate as a meteorologist. Got my wings too.
Spent
five years as a meteorologist with the "Weather Bureau"
now known as the "Weather Service." Left the "bureau"
to try my hand at starting my own private weather service serving
the general public, but the Weather Channel beat me to it. From
there I migrated to my first love... flying. Had been teaching part-time
for quite a few years, then went full time. Found out that can be
very "dangerous" in that I nearly starved to death. Gave up the flying and
went to work at RCA in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a materials planner.
Around 3 years later, left RCA and went on the road as a "manufacturers'
rep" covering the Northeast U.S. initially, and eventually
the East Coast, from Maine to Florida. Great career but eventually
returned to my first love as a flight instructor, charter pilot,
and eventually corporate pilot flying Learjets and Hawkers. Now
that was fun. But, as all things must come to an end, I "retired"
in 1994, bought land in Montana, and moved here in 1998. My history
sounds complicated, but I enjoyed a versatile life-style and have
no regrets.
Now, with my wife Kathy, we do virtual tours in real estate and other businesses. We also do photography... subjects in and around the state of Montana. And yes... we do web sites too... this one for example.
