Living in Montana

Montana is a state-of-mind to many. Those of us that live here call Montana home. We are experiencing an influx of folks converting their "Montana State-of-Mind" to their "Montana Home." We welcome them.

A word of caution, however. When you arrive, don't try to change it to be like where you came from. That's probably why you left there. And aggressive driving... not necessary. Just bring trust and honor with you. That still goes a long way in Montana. You will be welcomed.

If you keep your "Montana State-of-Mind" you'll enjoy your new "Montana Home" and be welcomed warmly.

About Helena

This charming, sophisticated and beautiful Victorian city is both the capital of the state of Montana and the county seat for Lewis and Clark County.

Helena is a unique blend of the past and the present, whether it's business suits or blue jeans... people from all walks of life can find an environment to suit their lifestyle. The city itself is alive with the community spirit, street festivals, theater, museums, symphonies, fairs and rodeos. It is the hub of education and health care, a city of timeless treasures and sophisticated services.

Helena's beautiful downtown, rich in history, offers a delightful shopping and browsing experience. In the heart of this area is the Pedestrian Walking Mall, a park-like outdoor shopping area of historic sites and a diverse array of unique shops, coffeehouses and restaurants.Click to Enlarge

Great shopping abounds in all areas of Helena. Several new shopping areas are currently under construction with national retailers ready to move into their new buildings.
